Cherlyn & Worship Workshops
Background:
Cherlyn Music Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)3 ministry, dedicated to uplifting, encouraging, and refreshing God’s people through music and His Word; to developing worship ministry skills in the body of Christ; and to sharing the love of Jesus by making a difference in the lives of children and families world-wide.
Performing & Leading Experience:
Cherlyn has worked with a wide variety of pastors and leaders including Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie, The Christian Musician Summit, The International Federation of Free Evangelicals, the Selah Center, and countless others across the United States at conferences, churches and events. She has led worship and/or worked with a wide range of artists, including Phil Keaggy, Michael W. Smith, Dave Irish, and many, many more.
Worship Training Experience:
Cherlyn teaches for the international Christian Musician Summit, where she is the Strings in Worship specialist, working alongside some of the best known Christian song writers and performers, including Paul Baloche, Brian Doerksen, Chris Tomlin and others, and teaching worship musicians from all over the world.
Uniquely Situated:
Cherlyn is uniquely situated to address the needs of a wide range of congregations, as in addition to an extensive pedigree in classical music, she has worked in both the traditional settings and cutting edge contemporary fields of Christian music and ministry, including church planting. (Cherlyn has helped to plant four churches, building worship and music teams/bands.)

Cherlyn regularly works with churches, worship musicians, leaders and full worship bands, teaching on worship, improvisation, creating flow in worship, the importance of leading from a heart of worship, preparing for worship, blending the old and the new, and much more.
Cherlyn is available to lead a workshop with your worship team, teach on worship, lead worship for your congregation, and/or give a concert of worship, depending on your needs and desires. Cherlyn and her Celtic worship band, Heartdance, regularly lead worship for churches of all denominations, conferences nationwide, prayer centers, camps and events. Her concerts interweave music that best described as “Celtic Fusion” with scripture, stories, and more, for an evening of encouragement and spiritual refreshment. Cherlyn’s music appeals to all ages; her fans range from 3 – 103!
