I've been reading through II Chronicles lately...sometimes has been more of a discipline to read all those names! Was tempted to skip a few chapters the other night, but went ahead, trying to believe that God would show me something new in all these listings of people as David set up the practices of the people....and the temple. And then, I got to chapter 25. The musicians....Read more....... Wow, we need to remember that leading the people in worship is ordained by God - and the roles range from worship to leading in battle!! What a great reminder that we are to give our best to the LORD! We must never stop pursuing excellence, skill, and a deep relationship with God, "young and old alike." What a great reminder it is to follow God's leading every week, in constant prayer, so that we are
ready for whatever God says, and we lead as we are led.
What a privilege it is to lead God's people in worship; we are "set apart" for a holy purpose. Let's live and lead from the heart!

So what do you think of when you hear the word "savor"? For me....it's chocolate! Mmmm..... experiencing the sweet fragrance, taking time to enjoy it slowly.
This year, I was encouraged to think of time with the Lord as time to "savor His presence." What an incredible thought......even in the small moments, taking time to listen, to ponder.
My new CD, "Breath of Dawn" is just for those times: moments to savor the presence of God. A combination of new recordings and some of my favorite reflections from previous CD's, it also features a spontanious time of worship with two of my dear friends and fellow artists/violinists, Anna-Ruth Boyce and Katheryn Naler Hewitt. This is my favorite album so far....hope you will thoroughly enjoy it and be blessed as you savor your time with the Lord!
